This scholarship program reflects our commitment to making high-quality sustainability education accessible to individuals who demonstrate both need and potential to create positive change in their respective fields.

Scholarship Program Overview

Our scholarship program is designed to support individuals who may face financial barriers to accessing professional development opportunities in sustainability. We recognize that expertise in sustainability engagement is crucial for addressing today’s environmental and social challenges, and we are committed to ensuring that talented individuals can participate regardless of their current financial circumstances.

 

Eligibility Criteria

All individuals are welcome to apply for this scholarship. We understand that financial constraints can affect people from various backgrounds and circumstances, and each application will be considered on its individual merits.

Priority Consideration Categories:

While we encourage applications from all qualified candidates, priority consideration will be given to applicants who fall into the following categories:

  1. Unemployed Individuals
    • Persons currently seeking employment
    • Recent graduates transitioning into the job market
    • Individuals between career transitions
  2. Students
    • Current university students (undergraduate and graduate levels)
    • Individuals enrolled in relevant educational programs
    • Recent graduates within 12 months of completion
  3. Non-EU Residents
    • Individuals residing outside the European Union
    • International participants seeking to enhance their sustainability expertise

Additional Considerations:

We recognize that financial need can arise from various circumstances beyond the priority categories listed above. Examples may include:

  • Employees whose organizations do not provide professional development funding
  • Individuals from underrepresented communities in sustainability
  • Career changers seeking to transition into sustainability roles
  • Independent consultants or freelancers with limited resources
  • Individuals facing temporary financial hardship

Application Requirements

To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, all scholarship applicants must provide the following:

Mandatory Documentation:

  1. Completed Application Form
    • Personal and contact information
    • Educational background
    • Professional experience (if applicable)
    • Current employment status
  2. LinkedIn Profile
    • Applicants must provide their LinkedIn profile URL
    • Profile should be current and professional
    • This allows us to better understand your background and professional aspirations
  3. Letter of Motivation
    • A written statement (300-500 words) addressing:
      • Why you are interested in sustainability engagement
      • How this masterclass aligns with your personal or professional goals
      • What you hope to achieve through this learning opportunity
      • How you plan to apply the knowledge gained
      • Your current financial circumstances and why you are applying for the scholarship

Supporting Documentation (When Applicable):

Depending on your circumstances, you may be required to provide additional documentation to verify your eligibility for priority consideration:

For Unemployed Applicants:

  • Documentation from relevant employment authorities
  • Recent bank statements or income verification
  • Letter of explanation regarding current employment status

For Students:

  • Current enrollment verification from educational institution
  • Valid student identification
  • Academic transcript (most recent semester/year)

For Non-EU Residents:

  • Copy of valid passport or national identification
  • Visa documentation (if applicable)

For Other Circumstances:

  • Any relevant documentation that supports your financial need
  • Letters from employers regarding funding policies (if applicable)
  • Additional explanatory statements as needed
